What are your top three most important qualities in a lover? Assign those qualities to your antagonist, and write what happens next.
3 Steps to Your Next Story
Take just 5 minutes to consider this prompt. What do you value in a lover? There are no wrong answers here. Hygiene, discretion, dominance, submission, athleticism, selfishness, passion, aloofness, prowess, generosity, something else?
Write for 15 minutes. Take your top three qualities and assign them to your antagonist. Assign the qualities in the broader sense. Your antagonist shouldn’t have these qualities just in the bedroom but as overall character qualities. How do other characters respond to him/her now? Does it change the dynamic between your antagonist or protagonist? Do other characters even notice? Don’t think about where you’ll end up when you jump into the story. Just write.
When you feel ready, share your story in the comments.
Someone you know would love this. Send it to them.
I have 3 questions:
1) Does this blog of yours make money for ; if so, how?
2) I have an idea for a daily “blog” in an “entertaining” way.How do I set it up to make money through subscription?
3 Where do you keep your written pearls of wisdom so that they are inaccessible to anyone else. Does this really demand a separate computer”just for that?”
I’d be happy to answer your questions, David. Since they’re not quite on topic for this post’s comment thread, send your questions here instead: http://mandywallace.com/contact/
